SFH # 141 Soil as a Living System with Mitchell Hora of Continuum AG

Mitchell Hora is a 7th generation Iowa farmer and the founder/CEO of Continuum Ag. His passion with farming started from a young age and today he assists with operating his family’s 700 acre farm, which in 2020 produced corn, soybeans, cereal rye, malt barley, and mustard. Mitchell and his father have been named “Soil Health Champions” by the National Association of Conservation Districts for their cover crop, no-till, relay cropping corn and interseeding efforts. Mitchell launched Continuum Ag in 2015 and has grown the company to a footprint of over 40 states and 11 countries. They help farmers profit via their first of its kind soil health data platform, TopSoil. Mitchell was also named to the AgGrad 30 under 30 list and strives to ensure economic resiliency and environmental sustainability for the family farms he works with.

In this episode, I speak with Mitchell about his mission and the impact Continuum AG is making in the world.
